Are You an Asthmatic of African American Descent?

Is your asthma out of control despite using the usual asthma medications? Do you need frequent rescue from coughing, wheezing and interrupted sleep? National Jewish Health is performing a study looking at why some asthmatics of African American ancestry do not respond to usual asthma treatments. If you are five years of age or older, a non-smoker and use inhaled asthma medications but don't get complete relief, then you may qualify.
