A new national survey commissioned by National Jewish Health revealed that most people don’t know that trouble sleeping, chest pain and a persistent cough can be warning signs of asthma. “A lot of people have asthma and don’t know it,” said David Beuther, MD, pulmonologist. “Patients are often surprised to find out that one of the big three causes of chronic cough is asthma.
